"If you get diagnosed when your older, just like I was, it is going to be hard at first to accept. I didn't want to give myself shots at first and my family and I were all in denial. After some time I began to see what most people can't see. I say we have a huge advantage because it makes us look at life differently. Kinda like, "you only live life once," type of thing. It isn't the worst disease. I mean I know it sucks sometimes but if you sit back and reflect, it is a blessing to be alive. You're a badass for surviving this disease everyday and that says a lot about who you are."
